Send Galaxium Hosting credit to someone, find the code again, and redeem a gift card into your account credit.

A gift card is US dollar credit you buy for someone else, or for yourself. It never expires, and its full value becomes account credit for whoever redeems it.

Buy a gift card

• Open Billing → Gift cards.
• Under Amount (USD), pick a preset or type any whole-dollar amount. The page shows the minimum and maximum.
• Optionally fill in Recipient's name, Recipient's email and a short Message (plain text, no links).
• Choose how to pay and click Buy a $X gift card.

Gift cards are paid with a payment method only. Account credit and promo credit can't buy gift cards, and promo codes don't apply to them. No tax is added when you buy one.

Send the code

Once the payment is confirmed:

• If you entered the recipient's email, we email them the code and your message.
• The code is always listed under Gift cards you bought, with a Copy button, so you can send it yourself.

Codes look like GXG-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Treat a code like cash: anyone who has it can redeem it.

The Status column shows whether a card is still active or has been redeemed, and by whom.

Redeem a gift card

• Sign in, or create a free account.
• Open Billing → Gift cards.
• Enter the code under Redeem a gift card and click Redeem.

The full value is added to your account credit at once and pays for orders and renewals automatically. Each code works once. You can redeem several cards, and they add up.

Tip: You can also enter a gift card code in the cart while checking out. Anything the order doesn't use stays on your account for next time.

Refunds

A gift card that hasn't been redeemed yet can be refunded to the buyer: open a billing ticket. Refunding it cancels the code. Once a card is redeemed, its value is account credit on the account that redeemed it. See How refunds work.
