Let an AI assistant manage your account with an API token · Galaxium Hosting help
Create a personal API token and connect a coding assistant or any MCP client so it can check your services, bills and tickets.
You can connect an AI assistant that runs in your editor or terminal, such as Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code or Codex, to your Galaxium Hosting account. Then you ask in plain words, for example "Is my VPS running?" or "Do I owe anything?".
The assistant connects with a personal API token over MCP, a standard way for assistants to use tools.
What a token can do
You pick one of two levels:
- Look only: list your services, check your VPS, and see invoices, your balance and tickets.
- Look + manage: all of that, plus start, stop and restart servers and open tickets.
No token can buy anything, pay, cancel a service or change your account security.
Create a token
- Open Account settings in the sidebar and choose AI agents & API.
- Under 1. Create a token, enter a Name, for example "Claude Code on my laptop".
- Choose the Access: Look only or Look + manage.
- Choose when it Expires: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, 1 year or never.
- Click Create token.
- Copy the token right away. It is shown only once.
Warning: Treat a token like a password. Anyone who has it can do what you allowed. Never paste it into a support ticket or Discord.
Connect your tool
- Under 2. Connect your tool, pick your tool's tab: Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex or Other.
- Copy the snippet. If you just created a token, it is already filled in. Otherwise replace
YOUR_TOKENwith your token. - Run the command or add the snippet to the file the page names.
- Ask your assistant a question about your account to check it works.
Other shows the endpoint address and header for any MCP client that supports Streamable HTTP.
Revoke a token
The token list shows each token's name, access level, when it was last used and when it expires. Click Revoke, then Click to revoke to confirm. Tools using it are cut off at once.
Sign out everywhere else on the Security page also revokes every token of this kind. See See where you're signed in and recent account activity.
Other keys
These tokens are different from AI Router API keys, which call AI models and use your AI credits. See Create and manage AI Router API keys.
